This Privacy Policy explains how our applications—including Pure Audio Music Player, Canary Player Pro, Robin Mp3 offline music player, Shopping List Tracker, Robin Habit Tracker and BookStreak : book tracker and TBR—handle data on your Android device.
Personal Data: Robin Sound Labs does not collect, store, transmit, or share any personal identification information (such as your name, email address, phone number, or telemetry location data).
Media & Audio Files (Pure Audio Music Player, Canary Player Pro & Robin Mp3 offline music player): The music applications require user permission to access local device storage solely to scan, index, and display your local media files for playback management. We do not catalog, upload, or modify your files. Lyrics Search Engine & Web Queries (Pure Audio Music Player, Canary Player Pro, Robin Mp3 offline music player): When you use our “Search Lyrics Online” feature, the application uses the track artist and song title to generate a standard web search string. This action opens your device’s default external web browser to display third-party search results (such as Google). We do not collect, transmit, track, or store these search queries on our servers. Your interactions with the web search engine and subsequent websites are governed entirely by those third parties’ respective privacy policies.
Clipboard Access (Pure Audio Music Player, Canary Player Pro, Robin Mp3 offline music player): Our application allows you to manually paste song lyrics retrieved from your web browser into the app. The application accesses your device’s system clipboard strictly when you explicitly initiate the paste action. This data is processed locally on your device solely to display and save the lyrics to your offline local media library database. We do not upload, share, or transmit your clipboard contents to any external servers or third parties.
Calculations (Shopping List Tracker): All budget calculations, item prices, and data remain entirely on-device and are never uploaded or shared.
Robin Habit Tracker: Habit Logs & Streak Analytics all routine schedules, calendar history, and streak logs are saved strictly in your device’s isolated internal database and remain entirely offline.
Book Logs & Reading Data (BookStreak): All reading goals, custom book lists, and reading statistics generated within BookStreak are saved locally on your device’s internal database. We do not track what you read.
Google Books API Integration Our application queries the third-party Google Books API to instantly fetch public book metadata (such as titles, author names, description details, and cover art URLs) when you scan an ISBN barcode or type in a text search query.
BookStreak does not transmit or share any of your personal data, reading logs, or account identities with Google. However, by querying their service, you acknowledge that Google may automatically receive and log structural network technical data (including your IP address, device type, and timestamp) required to securely process the request and maintain API infrastructure integrity. For further details regarding their data tracking standards, please review the official Google Privacy Policy (https://policies.google.com/privacy).
CAMERA Access (Used by BookStreak): Required solely to scan book ISBN barcodes using your device’s hardware camera. The barcode numbers are processed locally to query book information. We do not capture, record, store, or upload photos or videos.
READ_EXTERNAL_STORAGE / WRITE_EXTERNAL_STORAGE / READ_MEDIA (Used by Music Players & BookStreak):For Music Players: Required to scan and play audio files stored locally on your physical device.
For BookStreak: Strictly required to manage data portability, allowing you to export your data as a local backup file or import existing backup files back into the application.
FOREGROUND_SERVICE (Used by Music Players): Required to ensure uninterrupted background audio processing when the media players are minimized or your screen is deactivated.
Robin Habit Tracker: operates completely locally and does not access or request sensitive system alarms like SCHEDULE_EXACT_ALARM. All routine notifications use standard, energy-efficient system broadcasts. No notification details or schedule configurations ever leave your physical device.
Our ecosystem features two distinct app distributions. Data handling varies depending on the specific version you install:
Premium/Paid Applications (Pure Audio Music Player, Canary Player Pro): Contain zero advertisements and utilize no third-party tracking layers. Your usage habits remain entirely private and offline. Free Applications (Robin Mp3 offline music player, Shopping List Tracker, Robin Habit Tracker and BookStreak : book tracker and TBR) (Ad-Supported): To keep these tools free to download, this version may display third-party advertisements. These ad providers (such as Google AdMob) may access device identifiers (like the Android Advertising ID) to serve non-personalized or personalized ads and monitor ad performance. No financial transaction details or user tracking profiles are stored or accessed by Robin Sound Labs.
Local Typography: To display interface typography, font assets are bundled locally within the application package and are rendered completely offline. No network requests are made to external engines for asset delivery.
Our applications do not collect or harvest any data from anyone, including children under the age of 13. While our free version serves ads compliant with Google Play’s Families Policy, our tools remain entirely safe for family use.
Because all application modules operate fundamentally as local-first utilities, Robin Sound Labs does not store, retain, or transmit your personal data or application logs to any external servers.
